Me posting a new blog entry can only mean 2 things, more work done, and better weather is coming!
First off, as you can see near the top of the home page, the VR4 will be making an apperance at Hot Import Nights 2009 in Boston again this year. Whats different? LOTS! First off, the entire car paint scheme, but more importantly the interior trunk, which is still being worked on (almost done!). This year however, I am registered with an electricity feed to my car, so youll get to see the CarPC and other lighting effects working. Last year, my car sat in the dark pretty much. Also, Dean Luscomb will be available for a meet and greet, and Q&A about all things "Airbrushing".
Ok now an update. The trunk is almost done. The NOS bottle has been airbrushed and cleared. The fiberglass floor is all primed (needs another sanding and some misc putty) and ready for airbrushing. I figure another good solid week and I'll be rea

Ok, I'm not sure If i stated this in my previous entries, but I do most all of my VR4 work in a shop. I do this in a shop as part of a "Night School / Adult Enducation" program, that my father instructs at the Technical school he teaches at. During the month of December the program takes a break. It started back up this week....so, yea, time to get started on it again.
Last night we got the following done:
- Fabricated a bracket for the NOS bottle
- Painted / Cleared the three main trunk panels
- Welded in the bracket for NOS and mounted the bottle. (This sucker is strong)

It's done. Repainted/Airbrushed. The job went pretty smooth, little issues, and out came a solid piece of artwork. I've updated the gallery with tons of pictures of the before,during, and after pictures. Let me know what you think! Nick@MyVR4.net
