Well here it is...one of the final subwoofer boxes. The exterior of the car is getting the same airbrush/paint work as well. I went for this ripped metal look, with stone/concrete texture under it. Airbrushing was done by Dean Luscomb, this guy is amazing with the airbrush. You'll be seeing a lot more of his work shortly.

Just a quick update. As I sat at my house last night, I looked at the recent panels that I fiberglassed and realized, this has been a huge project. Not just the recent audio part, but the entire car overall. It has been pretty much 1 year to the day that this VR4 entered into the shop, stock. Now look at it. Trophies, awards...etc. Why am I writing this now? because I couldnt have done this without two people:

The first person is my Dad. I'd like to give my Dad some credit here because without having access to his shop, tools and of course expertise this project wouldnt even exist. My Dad is an Collison Repair Instructor at a local Technical High School, I think for about 20 years now. Prior to being an Instructor, he owned a shop in Salem, MA (for those that know Salem, you know what was the Fish Market right on Pickering Warf? That wasn't always a Fish market!). I thought I was on the way to completion, until I found more stuff to fiberglass. It turns out I decided to do all the moldings in glass, bondo, primer and paint...

...and seriously, this guy need to back off. Thats the look of "Yea I stole your paint gun".
